DAVID W. BOWLES, 44, formerly served as President of UPS Global Logistics and Distribution where he was responsible for worldwide strategy, financial performance and revenue growth of their contract logistics business.

Mr. Bowles joined UPS in 1984 as a part-time employee while attending the University of Louisville. After obtaining his finance degree, Bowles was tapped to lead a team charged with designing UPS’s first 3rd party logistics offering. Over the next decade, Bowles spent time in various key roles at UPS including the implementation of UPS’s European-based logistics operations. Bowles also held other pivotal positions responsible for acquisition, integration and portfolio alignment to expand UPS’s operational territory. During his 24 years with the company, Bowles helped charter the course for UPS to acquire and integrate third-party logistics providers and freight forwarders in an effort to build a broad supply chain unit.

In March of 2009, Bowles assumed his current position with IMSCO as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Bowles currently resides in Augusta, Georgia with his wife, Donna.
